About the Wine
This unconventional blend is crafted from the three red cultivars that the winemaker enjoys working with the most. It has the richness of a Shiraz, the elegance of the finest Grenache, and lively Cinsaut vibrancy! Dark plum in colour, the wine shows aromas of raspberries, plum and dark cherries with peppery red fruit on the nose. Mouth-filling palate with layers of fruit and soft tannins from extended maturation in French oak barrels are other standout features.
Winemaker's Notes:
Fire and passion give wings to the wildest dreams. Like a ceramist who turns raw clay into art, winemaker Jacques Erasmus was inspired to create a range of wines that captures the vitality of the earth. When fruit of ochre soil meet the moulding hands of a red-haired vintner, the result can only be bold and flamboyant.
